The Truth About Orgasms – Infographic

I’ve always thought that I was strange when it came to orgasms. I had always enjoyed having sex and always thought I was experiencing the real thing during the first few years that I was sexually active. That was up until I experienced the real thing. That may seem not that interesting, but rather the weird part for me is that before I experienced my first Orgasm I got pregnant and gave birth. I didn’t stumble upon that magic, body shuddering sensation until my son was a month or two old, and even then I was the one that induced it. I can’t remember the first time a partner made me orgasm but I do know that I’ve only experienced them with 2..maybe 3 of the people I’ve slept with in my entire life.

I guess it shouldn’t come as a surprise that up to 37% of women can’t orgasm. Thankfully now I can orgasm & like quite a few other women out there I can do so in more than one way. Visit the ‘Female Orgasm’ Infographic I posted a while back.

More Strange Sex Facts

I’m on a bit of an infographic kick of late. I think it’s the mixture of Interesting and strange facts mixed up with cute illustrations. Plus they make for pretty easy blog posts when there isn’t all that much I’ve got to say.

So today’s Infographic is about some of the ways we get hurt by sex… or rather during sex. I’ve been lucky enough not to ever suffer a truly painful injury, although constantly getting leg and toe cramps the first night I spent with -B was rather embarrassing and momentarily painful.

When it comes to breaking things during sex… well that’s a whole other matter. Some of the things I’ve broken include beds, a table, a beautiful glass vase that got smashed whilst I stumbled to find the light switch post facial and most memorably the truck hand-brake that I broke by kneeling on it whilst riding its driver.

But that’s enough about me – enjoy the pretty pictures and be grateful that you know not to ever stick anything up your butt unless it has some form of flared base to prevent you from ending up in hospital.

F*&% You Facebook

There’s plenty of reasons for me to love facebook. It kept me in touch with family and friends after I left Sydney a few years back, it helped me re-connect with my one true love, and it even got me laid on more than one occasion. But today I’ve just had enough…

It’s been over 6 weeks since some big fat bully created a fake facebook account to imitate, intimidate and cause all round grief to my son. I have lost count of the number of times I have reported this account, as well as the numerous other friends, family and blog followers who have also done the same – thank you Missy On top of using the report/block link that’s available on this cyber bullies profile I have also reported it using a few different forms that facebook has provided for people to report their accounts getting hacked and under-age kids using the site… but nothing, the profile is still live and the trouble it’s causing just keeps intensifying.

There is no email adress that you can contact at facebook in regards to anything of this sort – simply the block/report link which obviously doesn’t work as one would think six weeks would be long enough for a human being to be able to receive one of the numerous reports about the profile, take a look at it and see that it really does violate their tos and hit delete. I wasn’t impressed when some other sex bloggers had their pages/profiles removed for displaying images of sex toys, and truly started to hate facebook after seeing the movie ‘the social network’ – god that guy is such a wanker. Now that after all this time facebook can go and get f#*%ed for all I care.

Last night sometime this bully was logged into the profile and started chatting to one of my son’s friends who didn’t realise that it wasn’t actually him. Luckily when the conversation became a bit suspicious this kid went and got his mum. She took a look at the conversation and questioned the person involved in the chat only to be told to “fuck off you big fat jew” after which more abusive bullshit was thrown at her.

Being a good, responsible parent she took screenshots of this conversation and arrived with them at the high-school first thing this morning. I’m quite sure at the time she was ready to rip my son’s head off – see this is just one of the MANY occasions I’m grateful that I live in an anti-gun society as the above mentioned comment was one of the tamer ones thrown about in that online conversation. It didn’t take long for the school principal to call my son to her office to question him about the incident, as well as another one involving a seperate student being ‘verbally’ abused and taunted via facebook chat by this bully posing as my son.

It was quickly realised that it wasn’t my son who had been causing the ‘trouble’ as such, even though the person behind it has gone that extra step and created a photo-shopped image of my son (possibly because facebook actually did pay attention to the reports about the previous image being so lewd – thanks facebook for making it worse). When I first became aware of it I reported the situation to the principle & sent her screenshots etc, so she was quick to understand and realise exactly what was going on. She spoke to the mum, her kid, and my son to smooth everything over but my son was in tears that these people had been called such awful things and that it was all done by someone pretending to be him. I got to speak to him briefly on the phone after everything had calmed down and although I offered to come and get him he chose to stay at school and not let these kids get to him.

He was ok when I picked him up after school & dropped him and some friends off at a mates place, but when he got home and didn’t have something occupying his mind he started to fall apart. Swinging wildly between heart broken and devastated to rabidly angry and aggressive – it was very hard to watch as he started to loose control of his emotions. I doubt his 14yr old hormones were helping the situation, but it was very distressing. Trying to calm him down and attempting to counsel and console him is awfully hard when there’s absolutely nothing you can do about the situation.

I’ve called the police on more than one occasion, I even argued for 20 minutes when the sergeant tried to explain to me why the police can’t do anything and what I needed to do to shut my sons account – his account not being the actual problem rather this imitation account which I don’t have any control over. I seriously do not know what to do??

My son is an emotional wreck and understandably he is fearful that another such online chat may occur and result in him being physically assaulted by someone who this bully has been abusing.  He is also frustrated that no one seems able to do ANYTHING to get it stopped.

Funnily enough right around the time this started the school had a guest speaker adress the school about facebook and cyber-bullying, in this talk the kids were told that the police have powers to take action, as do the schools. But finding a police officer who cares enough to actually look into the issue rather than trying to hide behind the privacy act – well that is a different story. My boy feels strongly that the cyber-bullying talk was one of the things that sowed the seed in this bully’s mind.

I’m not a mummy blogger and I’m not a member of the P&C, nor any other mum type cliques – so I don’t feel like I have the ability to start a snowball effect and get enough people together to actually do something about this, or even just make enough noise to network with others fighting the same issue.  I simply don’t know what to do beyond simply trying to comfort and support my child and hope that eventually facebook will take this profile down.

If only I paid more attention when someone tried to teach me how to hack things like email accounts and facebook. If only I could erase the page myself.

Liberator Heart Wedge – Adult Product Review

Sex Position Aid and thigh-master in one!

My very first piece of liberator luxury was my heart wedge, and I dare say it will remain either on, or very near to my bed for quite a long while. Any product that helps me to achieve the position for optimal G-Spot contact AND can be used to whittle away the flab on the inside of my thighs is all #WIN in my books.

The Important Info:

Shape: Heart – duh!

Size: 48cm (19″) wide, 34cm (13″) long x 18cm (7″) high at the top which gradually tapers down to about 5cm(2″) at the point of the heart

Materials: The inner core is made from Liberator’s legendary strong memory foam and The outer cover is made from what Liberator calls “Velvish” – a material that is unsurprisingly similar to velvet in some ways.

Color Options: Aubergine, Buckwheat, Espresso, Grey, Merlot and Black – the color I have!

Using the Wedge for something other than sex

Yep – the heart wedge isn’t just a tool to use to for sexual adventure, it can also be used to strengthen up your inner thighs. As the heart wedge – and all of the other Liberator shapes are made from dense foam with a strong memory you can squeeze it tightly and it will immediately revert to its original size almost instantly. This mixed with the shape and size of the heart wedge makes it a far better looking option for keeping your loins lean.

I know the photo makes it look like it’s tucked in between my butt cheeks but those are my thighs – not my butt ok!

I had started to use it to put between my legs whilst I sleep, the top of the heart facing forwards, its tapering tail poking out behind me. It didn’t take much of a leap for it to go from just sitting between my legs to me trying to clamp down on it – thus discovering it’s formerly unknown magical ability.

Ok, so maybe others have come to a similar conclusion – but I just love when one item can be used in multiple ways.

It’s True Purpose

The heart wedge is actually a sexual position aid. It’s wedge shape slides under your butt to raise and tilt the pelvis so that you can get the best angle for some deep G-Spot action. I’ve always really enjoyed being on my back with a guy kneeling between my legs. I think it’s partially the angle of penetration, but also him being able to watch as he plunges deep inside of me is a pretty major turn on. Whilst suppressing the gag reflex and mastering being able to deep throat takes a bit of practise – it’s certainly made easier with the heart wedge.

Unlike some of the other liberator shapes – Including the original wedge, the heart is very inconspicuous and discreet in its design. After originally being a limited edition product the heart has been bumped up into permanent production as part of liberators new Decor Series. A very discreet collection of sexual accoutrement that blend well into the background and are almost impossible for people to recognise their true function.

No one’s going to think that the pretty heart shaped pillow sitting on your bed is really made for sex! And if they do figure it out or recognise the pretty logo on the Liberator label – chances are it’s because they already know about liberator. The Decor Range also includes some really cute “Stash” pillows for you to hide your favourite toys right in plain site, along with one of liberator’s top products – their throw rugs, all in colors that co-ordinate with other items from the range. Whilst I’ve chosen black I also think that the Aubergine is a stunning color. Also far less loud than my wildly patterned safari throe!

Like most liberator shapes the heart comes with a removable cover that can be put through the wash just like their amazing throes. I’ve now got a small collection of Liberator products : the heart (obviously), the safari throe and the wedge & ramp combo. One thing I’ve noticed is that the fabric of the heart – which Liberator refer to as ‘Velvish’ is so much nicer than the slightly ‘felt’ like sensation of the wedge and ramp combos fabric. You can see the difference in the shot below between the older wedge fabric and the new ‘Velvish’. It may not look as good in photos but it’s far nicer against the skin. It also picks up far less fuzz and debris than the traditional wedge and ramp.

If I had the choice all over again I don’t think I would’ve bought the wedge ramp combo as the heart wedge works just as well, if not better than the original wedge as it isn’t so bulky. It also interacts with the ramp just as the original wedge does. Now that the newer Liberator Flip Ramp is out I’d rather pay the extra $5 or so as it folds up into a convenient cube which makes it far easier to store than the original ramp. That thing is kinda hard to store.

All in all I’m more than happy with my heart wedge . It feels nice, performs great and really can help to add a little extra something if your sex life’s become a little bit staid. If you have a G-Spot that likes to hide I strongly recommend it as it does help to align things just right to ensure maximum interaction. With its added bonus of it being able to stand in for a thigh master I can’t see any reason why the heart wedge would deserve any less than 5 full stars.

Addicted to Survivor

Yep – I’ve become a bit of a reality tv junkie…

But can you blame a girl when a show like survivor consists of people walking around wearing barely anything? Especially when one of the male cast members ticks all of my boxes.

A month or two ago one of my twitter followers finally helped me get a hang of downloading torrents – a bit like napster. Anyway it’s the one way us Aussie folks can keep up with what’s happening in the world of shows such as survivor, True Blood, Bones… and for those who are mentally insane – American Idol.

I’ve loved Survivor ever since the first series they made in Borneo, although I’m still wondering why the hell they voted for Richard Hatch to win? It was rather satisfying to see the guy get fired by Donald Trump on Celebrity Apprentice! I’ve seen most of the different series of Survivor… although most of the time they get aired out here quite a while after they’ve been completely forgotten by US viewers. So there have been a lot of seasons that I’ve missed. All of which I’m starting to catch up on.

One of the most memorable seasons would be the infamous season 8 – All Stars.. you know the one where Amber hooked up with Boston Rob early on. Initially it had a bit of a femme fatale feeling to it. Hot young woman manipulating the (also super hot) young guy into doing her bidding. Somewhere between day 1 and day 38 the strategy was out the window replaced by what turned out to be true love… when Rob and Amber were the last two survivors I doubt Boston Rob cared whether or not he won – they got engaged that night so the money became theirs.

I actually couldn’t stand him back then, but now after watching him in season 20 – Heroes VS Villains and then in the current season 22 – Redemption Island… well I’ve come to realise just how hot this guy is. I’ve also come to realise that I really do have a “type” – you know the basic characteristics that make someone appear so attractive – and well Boston Rob is just one of the guys that fits my type

Tall – although taller is better. I’ve always loved tall skinny guys, possibly another reason why I love Survivor… all those emaciated guys running around shirtless.

Dark hair – not sure why I like dark hair, but it’s possibly because the darker the hair the hotter the beard. I go weak at the knees for a guy with a goatee. This I can trace back to my teenage years when I first developed my super crush on Dave Grohl. All the way back to the days when he was a drummer for NIRVANA I’ve had a crush on that man.It’s even better if it’s long hair! One of the reasons I developed a crush on -B was his long hair – that guy embodies most of the physical attributes of my ‘perfect guy’, but sadly I can’t show you how incredibly hot he is.

Bad Boy – Just like the majority of the female population I have a penchant for the bad boys. Doesn’t always work out to well in real life as bad boys don;t always care too much about how they treat people. Maybe it’s because I want to be the one to “fix” them – yep I’m one of those sorry assed women.

Lastly he has to have one extra thing – some mad tattoos, the ability to play guitar and love loud music, or in the case of Boston Rob – have a super sexy accent.  Being a little bit broken or being a tad bit gnarly also doesn’t hurt. Johnny Depp as captain Jack Sparrow is just one of the many examples of a completely kooky but totally hot piece of man.

Now that Boston Rob is into the final 5 in his 4th survivor adventure with an unknown hidden immunity idol hidden in his pocket – fingers crossed he makes it to the finals. Although I would be seriously impressed to see poor Matt return from Redemption Island just in time to be the first Survivor to win the coveted million dollars without ever really playing the game.

Not sure what I’m looking forward to the most – the latest Pirates of the Caribbean movie, Next weeks Episode of Survivor or the Foo Fighter’s touring later in the year!
