Fresh Beaded Nipple Huggers by CLP

Since there is no tension, they just fall right off every time I lean forward or shake too hard. They don’t ‘hug’ the nipple, but instead balance like paperclips on a pencil eraser–which is every bit as unsexy as it sounds. I did try to tighten the loop a bit, but the metal was pretty stubborn and did not budge enough for me to bend to size. I stopped just short of breaking them.

I am not a great blogger. I’ll be the first to stand up and say that. I write sex toy reviews and a mixture of personal ramblings and info on blogging itself. At no time did I think I would ever find my name or my blog in anyway associated with the big fish in this kinky puddle such as Violet Blue and The Beautiful Kind. That was until cosmo came calling asking me to recommend a list of top erotic reads for an up-coming sealed section. I obviously dropped everything and went running to my bookshelf in order to find at least 5 great erotic reads that I could recommend to their readers. If I had known at the time that my name would be mentioned anywhere near the other highly esteemed contributors I probably would’ve frozen up and not been able to type. Thankfully I was unaware and choosing my first pick for ‘Best Erotic Fiction’ was not hard. ¹

Best Dirty Movie

Know the mention of my blog becomes even smaller when you compare it to Violet Blue Being Judge for Best Dirty Movie – but hey I’ll take being separated by a few pages and font sizes over just both being called Violet any day.

As Judged by the much more famous Violet Best Dirty Movie went to Shortbus by Cameron Mitchell. Which she calls “A funny yet thought provoking collection of over lapping stories that cross pats as they have surprising realisations about what sex means to them”

Best Self Pleasure Device

Now this is a section I knowsomething about! Whilst the Waterproof Rabbit Pearl Vibrator was heralded as the winner I can think of a few others I would reccommend first. Just read my sidebar if you want to know of my top 5 picks. The other mentions go to the new We-Vibe Touch² and the Rock’s Off Groovy chick- both toys that are of a good quality and do what they should. But the 3rd mention – The Venus Butterfly II – no, no & NO. If you want something to tickle your nether regions whilst allowing your hands to be free for other things, go grab yourself a We-Vibe2. Strap on butterflies are notoriously troublesome.

Best Toy For Two

Sonia Borg³ Judged Sportsheets Under the bed restraint system as the best Adult Toy for two. I can’t disagree that this set of kinky cuffs are a great play device that is incredibly ingenious in its design. Wrapping under and around the mattress their design is ingenious. Super easy to pull out when you want to tie your lover down in order to get down and dirty whilst also being super quick to clean up and pack away. Her other options however leave me bemused. For me the best sex toy for couples is the We Vibe2. I’ve said it a million times before and I will say it again. Hands down THE best way to insure and ensure that you will get the clitoral orgasm your craving whilst having traditional, penetrative sex. Although the soon to be released couple’s sex toys from LELO might just give the We Vibe a run for its money. Her other choices include a Passion kit, Sportsheets G-Spot Link sex position strap ad the Matador Vibrating cok ring. Any of my reviewing friends thinking we should all get together to create a ‘Reviewer’s Choice” awards??

Wild Orgasm – Sex Toy Review

As part of the California Exotics Sexpert program each month I get sent a different toy to play with, test out and review. This month I received a rabbit vibe with a little bit of a twist called the ‘Wild Orgasm – Pierced Lover‘. A rather traditional style rabbit vibe in the sense that it has a little dolphin like clit tickler and a shaft filled with rotating beads. The twist that adds a little something extra than your traditional rabbit is that the clit tickling dolphin has had its nose pierced – hence the name.

The Important Info

Materials: TPR sleeve, ABS plastic control unit, and stainless steel for the piercing and ‘cyclops eye’

Colors: Blue and clear TPR

Size: Overall length of 10″, with a 5.75″ shaft and a maximum girth of around 4.75 inches. 3″ long clitoral stimulator.

Power Source: 3 AA batteries (not included)

Controls: Easy to use 6 button interface. One on/off switch, an up and a down button for the main shaft as well as the clitoral arm. The fifth button in the center of the control panel scrolls through the different patterns.

Vibration levels and Patterns: 8 levels for both the clitoral arm and rotating shaft along with 3 patterns.

Other features: Waterproof, back lit control panel. Dual Motors. Piercing on clitoral shaft and the “cyclops” eye

Price: Around the $99-$115 mark

The Review

I have to say that rabbit vibrators are probably my favourite type of sex toys. They provide the penetrative sensations that I crave when I’m horny whilst stimulating two places at one. That said though I wasn’t too keen on this particular one, but I think it comes down to the TPR sleeve that is a bad fit for the internal shaft and can be stretched a ridiculous amount. Both of which just reminded me of nasty jelly toys which did ruin my enjoyment of it. That said there are some major positives to this toy.

The stainless steel barbell that has been poked straight through the dolphin like clit stimulator is a very nice feature as the steel transmits the vibrations extremely well. I could also really feel the other steel feature – the pleasure ball, aka ‘;cyclops eye’. As the shaft with its 3 levels of beads rotates and gyrates the metal ball gets strongly massaged against the g-spot which I found to be far out amazing, especially when combined with the gyrating tip of the shaft. I even discovered that I could use this toy almost hands free. Insert, switch on, close legs, lay back and ust enjoy. It was a great experience, but I did need to get a bit more active in order to orgasm.

Whilst it is quite the powerhouse it is both noisy and a battery guzzler. The motor in the shaft is quite strong and performs well, the motor in the clitoral arm not so great which was a huge letdown. I love clit stimulators and liked the pierced aspect of this one, but the lack of energy emitted from its seperate motor left me wanting for more. A lot more.

As it does have dual motors that can be operated independently it allows the user to create their perfect combination of vibrations suited to their personal preferences. It also features 3 different vibration patterns that involve both motors. All of these settings add up to’ over 200 intense patterns‘ according to the toys packaging. The LED bcklit control panel is easy to use and quickly becomes intuitive with an independent on/off switch, a + & – for each of the motors and a 6th button in the middle which cycles through the different vibration patterns on offer.

As the toy is fully waterprood with an O ring to prevent water getting into the battery pacl and mechanical housing it makes washing this toy super easy. Best way to clean TPR is with warm water and disinfecting soap. As TPR is slightly pourous it cannot be sterilised so sharing and anal play is not on unless you use a condom to cover the toy first.

The wild orgasm has features I like and elements I dislike. I imagine it would be a perfectly fine vibrator for anyone looking for a good rabbit, but as I have numerous other options such as the LELO Soraya and my Vanity VR5 from Jopen it is unlikely that I will be using this one regularly. It isn’t dreadful, but it just doesn’t fully float my boat which earns it 3 out of 5 stars from me.

At the moment it would appear that the Wild Orgasm – Pierced Lover isn’t yet available from any of my favourite sex toy stores, once it is I will update you with where you can find one for yourself.

More toys in LELO’s Insignia Line

Sexiest Blogs of 2011 – Nominations now open

Each year for the past 3 years Rori from Between My Sheets has been putting together a list of the top 100 sexiest blogs in the world. The top 100 are decided upon by a group of esteemed judges (something I was very happy to get to do last year!) who check out, read and vote upon hundreds of sex blogs as nominated by the general viewing public.

FAQ -sometimes crazy questions I’ve been asked

Can a Fleshlight be made to match my wife?

short answer is no. Well unless she’s a major porn star.

Longer answer, in the crazy world of the internet where people make homemade dildos using caulking silicone bought at the hardware store, or create their own fleshlights by bubble wrapping sponges and shoving them into coke bottles… possibly yes. But it would have to be a DIY custom job. Buy a clone a pussy kit and a fleshlight featuring your favourite inner texture. Chop the top of of your perfectly good fleshlight and then using the clone a pussy kit make a mould of her vulva (the outside bits) and cast yourself a new top for your fleshlight.

If you want to completely re-create her pussy then it’s going to become a much more involved, far messier project that’s going to require seaweed, a decent knowledge of chemistry and some gynaecological tools. But shit it would be a great way for a woman to show her man how much he means to her.

How Do I Apply Corn Starch [aka corn flour or corn powder] to my fleshlight?

#3 It’s cheap and just yuck – silicone may attract fuzzies, but Jelly dildos attack them and use the fizzies to build even bigger cities for the nasty bacteria and it’s feasty mates

I’d go on but there’s too many reasons why you shouldn’t mend a jelly dildo. Actually you shouldn’t try to mend a tear, crack or rip in any dildo, no matter what it is made out of. Just go out and buy a new, preferably Silicone dildo that won’t let bugs breed or leech poisonous chemicals into your vag. ummmm. No. And even if you could I would strongly advise against fucking anything made out of or covered in butter or any other food substance.

Can I use Alchol Wipes on Silicone dildos (vibrators or other silicone sex toys)?

Using wipes that contain alcohol to clean silicone sex toys is safe and should not damage the surface of the silicone. (that is if it is real silicone) However soaking anything made of silicone in alcohol will quite likely damage it.. The trick here is that by wiping the surface with alcohol (either as a pre0made wipe or with a cotton ball soaked in Isopropyl alcohol) it quickly and easily evaporates leaving no residue and not damagiong the material. Note: use Isopropyl alcohol only (aka rubbing alcohol – in Australia it’s sold as Isocol). You don’t really wanty to be using rum or borboun here – save that stuff for drinking guys.

If you are concerned about damaging the surface of a sex toy try a small patch test on an area near the base where it doesn’t really matter if it does get damaged. Other sex toy materials that are perfect for being cleaned with alcohol include glass, hard plastic and metal

Silicone toys can also be wiped down with a diluted bleach solution (allow it to try and then rinse well with water before using it again) and if it is a dildo, without any electical or mechanical components then you can also boil it on the stove top for 5 minutes to fully sterilise it – just make sure it isn’t touching the bottom or sides of the pot as the increased temperature could melt it. Another option is putting it through a wash in the top shelf of your dishwasher, all on its own, without the dishes of course!!

Can I squirt without Penetration?

I can’t really answer this for everyone as each body is unique, but I most certainly can and often do squirt without penetration. Actually it’s gotten to a point where (given the exact right situation) I can squirt with the most minimal amount of touch.It’s almost tantric and requires a fair bit of practice and I guess training, but it certainly can be done.

Can I squirt without having an Orgasm?

Again I can only answer for myself, and sadly the answer is yes. Why sadly?
