I wanted to start the New Year with a bit of a bang and what better way to do that than by writing my first official review for an Australian Sex Toy retailer. And not just any old Aussie sex toy store, it’s for Femplay.com.au – possibly my favourite Aussie sex toy site!

The first item they have sent to me for review is the ‘Luv Touch Lipstick Vibe’ created by Pipedream Products. It is a small mini vibe that is discreet in both it’s size and design, cleverly disguised as a tube of lipstick this vibrator is easy to take with you anywhere you go and it is specially camouflaged to go un-noticed within one’s handbag. Its main use is as a clitoral vibrator, but through some experimentation I have found it to be useful in quite a few other ways as well.

Important Info

Use: Best used for direct clitoral stimulation, but it’s also nice on the nipples as well as  other external erogenous zones. NOT SAFE FOR ANAL USE!

Size: Its overall length is 8.5cm (3.5″) and 1.5cm wide with a circumference of just over 6cm (2.5″) around the outer case & 4cm (1.5″) around the actual ‘lipstick’ tip.

Color: Matte black casing with a bright red tip that imitates a regular stick of lipstick.

Controls: A simple twist cap on the base of the toy switches it on and ramps up the vibration speed, turned anti- clockwise it reduces the intensity of the vibrations, lowering them right down before switching the toy off.

Material: ABS Plastic, 100% Body Safe and Phthalate Free.

Lube Compatibility: Silicone, Water and Oil based lubes are safe with this toy.

Power: 3 LR44 watch batteries (included)

Vibration Levels/Patterns: 1 steady pattern of vibrations that rise steadily from barely there to a super buzzy medium high. Levels aren’t discernible due to dial style control

Other: Completely Waterproof, Very Durable.

For one reason or another ABS plastic is one of my favourite materials when it comes to sex toys. It comes in a varied array of textures and finishes, but the matte finish of the Luv Touch Lipstick Vibe truly is my favourite. It feels a little like micro-fibre fabric as I rub it against my skin. I’ll even confess a secret to you – I love matte finished ABS Plastic far, far more than silicone. I feel like I’m breaking some kind of sex toy reviewers creed by not bowing down and worshipping Silicone, but the truth is I don’t like it, it is too squishy and sticky, it requires far too much lube, gets coated in dog hair and dust…I just don’t like it. Any how I digress – back to the review.

The number one feature of this mini vibe is its tiny size and clever disguise. It is the style of toy that if your kids, or parents happened to spot the the last thing they would assume that it is is a sex toy. Upon close inspection – yes it does look like fake lipstick, but if it is spotted when someone catches a glimpse inside your purse, or you happen to leave it on the bed side table no alarm bells will start ringing.

I’ve just been keeping mine in my handbag ever since I got it, just in case the urge struck me at some strange point whilst I’m out and about. It may seem odd to have a vibrator in your handbag “just in case”, but trust me when that urge hits you you’ll be glad you have it. But if the idea of having an orgasm at some random point in an average day doesn’t appeal to you it is also great as a bullet and its vibrations tend to travel quite well through other non vibrating toys such as silicone dildos and glass wands.

The Vibrations are pin pointed and easy to focus on a small area, however they are quite high pitched and buzzy. The style of vibrations that start to turn your fingers and other bits numb after a few minutes of direct contact. It only has the one pattern of continuous vibration, but they can be easily changed to a higher or lower intensity using the dial style control on the base of the toy.

I’m not a huge fan of these style of high pitched vibrations as they don’t seem to have enough oomph to coax out an orgasm, however I really enjoy them on other areas such as my nipples, or on my back. I really enjoy when my partner uses it as though it is a pen to write on my skin. I’ve also discovered he quite enjoys the buzzy vibrations against his perineum whilst I’m giving him a blow job. Just remember that this is not a toy for anal penetration. It doesn’t have a flared base and could easily go further than you wish… and we know how those stories turn out!!

Sound wise it is also quite high pitched, like high frequency white noise. It could possibly be heard by someone outside of the room whilst it is on maximum power. In comparing its noise level to the LELO Mia their noise levels are almost identical.

When it comes to toys powered by watch batteries I’ve become quite sceptical, all too often they don’t give the toy all that much power and are a complete pain in the behind to buy. I’m actually pleasantly surprised by the power the Luv Touch Lipstick Vibe puts out off of just 3 of them. In the 2-3 weeks I’ve been playing with it I am yet to notice a decline in the toys power. And that’s not all, it actually arrives with its 3 watch batteries inserted, all you have to do is remove a small paper tab from between the end cap and the batteries when your toy arrives and you are ready to go. Also Femplay Australia also stock 12 packs of these LR44 watch batteries available on sale for only $13.95((This price is correct on the day this review is published but is subject to change))

As it is the style of vibrator for the woman on the go a ‘travel lock’ function would be great, but such a feature would push the price up quite a bit. If you are worried about it accidentally switching on you can simply remove the batteries. I can however tell you that I’m not at all concerned about this happening as no matter how rough I am with my handbag the dial base has enough resistance that it is a pretty hard to have it switch on accidentally all by itself.

In keeping it in my handbag – which I toss about and chuck all over the place without much regard for its contents I have found that it is really, and I mean really hard, or even impossible to for it to turn on whilst being beaten about. It has also pointed out just how durable this toy is. It doesn’t have a single mark or scratch on it from any of the other junk in my bag that has been knocking into it. I’m incredibly impressed by this, as well as the fact that the lid hasn’t come off once during such trials either!

When it comes to care and maintenance it can be easily cleaned with warm water and a dis-infecting soap. As it is fully waterproof you can submerge it without having to worry about damaging it. Also its Plastic structure is non-porous so if you do wish to share with a partner you can use a diluted solution of bleach to sterilise this toy.

When it comes to storage you can stow this little baby wherever you like. The clear plastic casing that the toy arrives in isn’t really suitable for storage, however its discreet design makes it easy to keep it hidden in plain sight!

In Conclusion

I’m not a big fan of watch battery vibrators, but this little lipstick vibe has made me realise maybe I shouldn’t write all such vibrators off immediately. The durability and strength of this vibe combined with its discreet design are the true stand out points for this mini vibe. Whilst it is a little high pitched and buzzy vibration wise I really love it for foreplay, as well as for stimulating other areas of the body. Every woman should have a mini vibe in their toy collection in my opinion and with keeping this toys very low price of $17.95AU¹ I can’t help but give the Luv Touch Lipstick Vibe 3 and a half stars out of 5.

FemPlay Australia

As I mentioned earlier this is my first review for Femplay.com.au and I just wanted to share a little bit of a mini review of them and their service so that you, my wonderful readers can now what to expect when making a purchase from them.

My Package arrived on my doorstep in rural NSW within 48hrs of it being sent out by Femplay. If you live in any of the main metropolitan areas of Australia you can expect to receive your new toys even sooner².In fact if you order before 3pm they ensure next day delivery.

They are sent out in the standard Australia Post – Express Post satchels and are so normal in their appearance that no one would ever guess in a million years that there were Sex Toys enclosed in the package. The only information on the outside of the satchel is that the package was sent by “BBH Corp Pty Ltd” – Pretty innocuous really

Within the satchel my toys were wrapped and protected by a thick cardboard sleeve which was also enclosed within a sturdy layer of bubble wrap. There was no way any of the items were going to get damaged in transit.

As for the website I have never had a problem with their website at www.Femplay.com.au, I have always been able to find the products and information I have been looking for. Their site layout and menus are very intuitive and their search facility is truly superb. They stock a wide range of products for a vast range of uses. A range that includes something for every budget. I’m extra impressed with the extras they stock such as the watch batteries needed for the Luv Touch Lipstick vibe.

Also on each and every product page their are visual images that quickly tell you whether or not a toy is Phthalate free and body friendly, as well as the manufacturer’s logo and whether or not the item is waterproof. It is a small touch, but it has a great positive affect on the shopping experience.

Keeping all of this in mind, along with their heavily discounted prices I have no choice but to give Femplay Australia a complete 5 out of 5 stars.

The Power Pleasure Harness with Turbo Dong

This month I was slightly confused as to what to do when I received my latest product from Cal Exotics as I’ve really got no use for a harness. I’ve got no girlfriends to play with any more and ‘HELLO’ plus sized! No way would any harness fit my fat ass! X had mentioned wishing he could use a strap on to double penetrate me as well as possibly being interested in pegging – but not sure if that’s going to happen. Whilst I’m all up for DP, pegging kinda scares me. In the sense that I don’t want to hurt someone. Maybe it wouldn’t be an issue, but for pegging N00B such as myself it is a concern. Not being able to feel what I am doing to them as well as their body’s reaction concerns me greatly. But after discussing the matter with @Mistress_kay sex toy reviewer extraordinaire I have come to realise that although I may not wish to penetrate somebody with this toy I sure as heck can still tell you all about it. So here goes for my first harness Review!

Lubrication Compatibility: Water Based Recommended

Harness Measurements: Although the Packaging says that it fits up to a 40″(120cm) waist the actual maximum waist measurement is 64″ (163cm), with a maximum thigh strap measurement of 30″(76cm). I am easily a size 24/26 & this harness easily fits my Plus Size Shape which certainly impresses me. I had always thought my size would exclude me from being able to ever use a harness, it’s nice to discover I was wrong. For those of you on the opposite end of the size spectrum you can rest assured that all of the straps can be tightened to fit even the smallest of frames. This will obviously cause there to be long, excessive strands of the Nylon webbing to be dangling about, possibly getting in your way. However you could always trim them shorter, it just depends on whether or not you will be sharing the toy with a partner who needs the longer straps to fit their size.

Harness Compatibility: It is designed to be used with the supplied Vibrating Dildo with its base and press studs which attach it to the harness. BUT I am a total NOOB when it comes to harnesses and there may be other dildos with compatible bases that can snap onto this harness. The Ring shaped area of the harness is 2.25″ wide, but without a metal O ring to hold it in place I doubt it could be used successfully with other dildos.

Basic Run Down

The Power Pleasure Harness with Turbo Dong is, in the simplest of terms an adjustable nylon harness with a snap on, vibrating Dong.

The Harness

The Harness is made from 1″ wide Nylon webbing and consists of a waist strap, 2 thigh straps and a front plush, fleece like fabric panel which has 4 silver snaps and a 2.25″ wide hole where the ‘Turbo Dong’ attaches.

Each of the three Nylon straps are easily adjusted with the plastic slide style clips to fit a wide range of body sizes. The ends of each of the straps have a very rough finish where the Nylon has been melted to prevent fraying. These ends have an itchy, scratchy feel and can easily irritate the skin.

The front panel is the complete opposite. Made from a double layer of fleece fabric it is very soft against the skin and has a padded feel to it. Its edges are bound with a soft bias binding and all of the edges have a row of re-enforcing stitching, as does the circular hole in its center. The four silver snaps which are used for attaching the Dong penetrate through all of the layers of fabric.

All of the stitching that holds this harness together is very sturdy and overall it is well made with a high level of craftsmanship. There is no way this harness is going to come un-done in a hurry.

As for the way it sits, it put a lot of strain on my hips, digging into my flesh whenever there was any resistance against the dong. The Base plate and dong sat at a very natural level and it would be easy to simulate PIV sex, or partake in pegging using this set. However it is the thin nylon straps that dig into your fleshier regions which make it difficult to use for extended periods of time.

The ‘Turbo Dong’

The penetrative portion of this toy composes of two pieces; 1)a Flat based plate which attaches to the harness and features the on/off button for the vibrating options as well as the ‘dock’ that the dong screws into. And 2) The vibrating ‘Turbo Dong’.

The base plate has a thin layer of soft padding underneath it, covering the surface that rubs against your skin. This covering stops the base from rubbing to hard against your pubic bone during use, whilst its size evenly disperses any strains experienced during use well across its surface. This helps to prevent the corners from digging into you whilst you are using the toy with a partner.

The Dong itself isn’t something I’m overly impressed by. For one it is made from PVC, whilst the packaging says it is Phthalate free PVC it doesn’t do much to make me feel comfortable using a PVC toy internally. Its porous nature also tends to bother me – even with the most stringent hygienic care bacteria and bugs can still take up residence. It also prevents it from being a toy that can be used for sharing between partners and if you wish to use it for both anal and vaginal penetration condoms are always a must.

It is a slightly odd shape, the shaft is slightly cone shaped, the wider base tapers in evenly just like an upside down ice cream cone, but around an inch or so from the tip it balloons out into a spherical shaped head that does nothing for me visually or sexually. I often enjoy toys with pronounced heads, but the shape of this one both looks and feels a little odd.

The Turbo Dong also operates as a 3 speed vibrator. 3 AAA sized batteries are slid into the body of the dong before it is screwed back onto the base plate. It was here that I experienced a little trouble. It had to be screwed to just the right point in order for the contacts to meet. Tighten it too far and it wouldn’t vibrate, leave it too loose and again you have the same issue. There is a single control button located on the base plate. Pressing this button will cycle through the 3 different vibration strengths before switching it back off again. The vibrations were no where close to as strong as I would expect as they are easily absorbed by the dense shaft rather than travelling through it. I would compare its over all strength to a small bullet, even though I do have bullets that are far stronger than the Turbo Dong. The sound levels however are acceptable, it can be heard over a tv but you cannot hear it through a bedroom door.

Care and Cleaning

Both the Harness and the Dong((I hate this word but it is what they call it)) are both fully waterproof, that is as long as the dong is fully attached and locked in it can safely be used in water. Be it the shower, the bath, or the ocean it can be used wherever you want. Although PVC doesn’t come to mind when I think of body safe materials in this case it is Phthalate free, But it is porous! This basically means that unless you cover it in a condom the dong is not a toy for sharing. Also whilst it is shaped in a way that is safe for anal it can not be sterilised afterwards. So if you wish to a) share the dong, or b)use it for anal penetration It MUST be covered in a condom – and if you wish to do both anal and vaginal penetration use separate condoms for each and NEVER go from ass to pussy.

Both components can be washed in warm water and disinfecting soap, just ensure that the dong and its base are attached securely to prevent water from damaging the electrical components. Also on the care side of things the packaging recommends that you only use water based lubes with the dong so as to not damage the integrity of the surface.

Conclusion

Whilst this is a toy that I personally have little use for I think it could make for a great introduction to harnesses and strap on style sex. There are certainly much better quality harnesses available as well as ones that are compatible with almost any dildo, but for its low price and its purpose I think It’s pretty darn good. It certainly looses points for not being made out of a more body friendly material (the dong), yet gains some for its ability to fit almost everyone of any size.  As their are two separate components I’ve decided to rate them individually as well as rating them as an all in one product.

Basic Harness 4/5 – mainly due to its price & plus sized abilities (& Im sure my harness naivety).

The Dong gets just 2/5 , bad material, odd shape, it could be far far better even though it is Phthalate free. Also the strength of the vibrations left much to be desired.

So I guess together I’m going to give them an overall rating of just 2 & a half stars.

Sex Toy Review – I rub My Duckie

I Rub My Duckie Bondage

When the Adult sex toy store known as TheAdultToyShoppe.com asked me to review some sex toys for them my first choice was something from the ‘I Rub My Duckie‘  line of novelty vibrators. I have long wanted one of these cute bath time pals and the limited edition bondage version was just too adorable to pass up.

This Duck shaped massager come vibrator is completely waterproof and with his vibrating body he makes for a great bath time pal. He arrives held tight within a thick plastic clamshell, along with the 2 x AA batteries he requires and a set of mini handcuffs that I adore. ❤They are the perfect, kinky addition to my key ring. I must say I do LOVE when a sex toy manufacturer includes the batteries to power the toy. There’s nothing worse than wanting to try out a brand new toy but being unable to as you can’t find a set of fresh batteries – it’s frustrating to say the least! So a big thank-you to Big Tease Toys for adding this small but much appreciated touch to this toy.  Having the batteries included really rocks but you will still have to stay patient. Well at least until you find a Philips head screw driver to unscrew his base so that you can insert his batteries. This base plate needs to be screwed in tightly as it is what keeps your ducky waterproof.

This little guy is made from rubber, not exactly the best material for a sex toy, but it is FREE of Phthalates, Latex, Cadmium & Lead((according to the big tease toys website)). It’s a porous material that can’t be sterilised so germs and things can start to grow – Have you ever seen the gunk that grows on bathtub toys over a period of time, not nice! My guy is strictly for muscle relaxation purposes only and even though I’ve used him in the tub so far no gunk has grown. Quite possibly because I give him a really good dry off after washing him with disinfecting soap. If you are going to use this as a sex toy please keep in mind that it is porous and shouldn’t be shared. This means keeping him well away from kids who will want to play with him & chew on him etc… Not a pretty picture!

When it comes to kinky fashion this little 5″x5″ (do u get the buffy reference? heh) duck is truly decked out. He has a cherry colored ball gag in his mouth, a stunning silver spiked collar and a lace up, vinyl look studded jacket. His clothing is part of his form so you don’t have to worry about cleaning in creases or possibly loosing parts of his kinky costume. His overall surface is for the most part smooth with the exceptions being his spikey collar along with the studs and lace-up front of his jacket. His very unique shape as well as the mixed textures of the surface adds a lot of variety to his otherwise 1 note show.

His downfall is that he only has one speed of vibrations which you turn on & off by pressing on the upper portion of his back. They are quite strong – probably about a medium on a 3 speed bullet, and they travel well throughout his entire body. The packaging recommends trying out the different feelings created by various areas of his body such as his head, his beak or tail etc. The vibrations travel well throughout his body but are more pin point on spots like his beak and tail. When it comes to the style of the vibrations they are a bit buzzy and can start to numb your hand, but their buzziness is lessened as is their strength when pressed hard against the body.

When it comes to sound he is very very quiet. My son was mucking around with him (I’ve delegated him as a sore muscles style massager within our house not a sex toy!) , when he switched him on and sat him on the lounge I could feel the vibrations running through the lounge but couldn’t hear him what so ever, even though he was only a metre or two away. If you place him on a flat surface he will vibrate himself across the surface and even do little 360 spins. You would think from this that perhaps he would propel himself from one end of the bath to another, but sadly when left alone in the bath he just flips over and creates little ripples in the water.

All in all I think he’s one super cool, kinky little duck that can tease you and please you sexually or relax and massage your saw muscles and joints. His shape actually makes him perfect as an all over massager as his base fits well in the palm of your hand and his head works well on the harder to reach spots. I feel he is well deserved to earn a 3 out of 5 stars from me.

Sex Toy Review – Blue Venus

Blue Venus Waterproof Vibrator from Good Vibrations

The Blue Venus Waterproof Vibrator is a sex toy with a very uniquely shaped head designed for clitoral stimulation. One side is moulded to cup the clitoris – providing slightly more diffuse, not so direct vibrations and the other very pointed tip for intense, direct stimulation. But it’s uses don’t stop there, despite the pointy shape of the tip it can also be used as an internal vibrator. The wavy, somewhat curvaceous shaft provides wonderful stimulation and allows the vibrations to reach deep within.

It is made out of 100% Body safe, Phthalate free, Hypo-allergenic, Latex Free ABS Plastic, in the loveliest shade of blue. I know everyone’s always singing the praises of Silicone, but ABS Plastic is by far my favourite material for sex toys. It is non-porous, and super easy to care for, being compatible with both water based and Silicone based lubes. But more important than that it has the nicest, silkiest, most velvety finish. The kind of texture that lures you in and you don’t want to stop stroking it. It feels that Amazing!

I was expecting this tiny little toy that would fit into the palm of my hand, so it’s size was a bit of a surprise. Overall it is 7.5″ tall, 6.5″ of shaft with a 1″ high twist off base. At it’s widest points, along the curves and around the head it has a circumference of 4″.

It arrives in a small cardboard box, not much bigger than the toy(9″x2″x2″). It features an image of the toy on the front & back, along with information regarding the toy.  It isn’t the most discrete packaging I’ve seen but unless you have to keep your toys well hidden it could be re-used as storage.

It requires 2AA sized batteries to power it. These are easily inserted into the toy by taking off the cap at the base of the toy. Rather than screwing on and off with a screw like thread this cap has a bayonet style closing mechanism, similar to the way you slot a light globe into its socket.

As the Blue Venus Waterproof Vibrator is kinda obviously waterproof, just inside the cap, where the base & body meet there is a clear rubber O ring which prevents water from getting into the electrical parts of this toy. A job it does very well by the way, making it the perfect bath time friend.

The vibrations are controlled via a simple to use dial which is located at the very bottom of the base cap. Whilst there is only one continuous pattern for vibrations you can ramp them up from slow and shallow to strong and intense. Due to the way the dial base works there is no way to say how many levels it has. I would liken it’s vibratory strength to that of a strong bullet. Soft enough on low to just get you warmed up whilst strong enough on high to get you off.  I did however find that on the higher settings it became quite buzzy. Providing surface stimulation that didn’t really penetrate very deeply, and that after a while started to numb my hand.

Whilst I love the concept of the cupping side of this toy it really didn’t do that much for me during use. I found myself more drawn to the rear side of the head. I think I’m in love with this little devil’s horn. The tip provided very pin pointed vibrations whilst the curved shape of the head added stimulation to the rest of the area.

As for internal use, well I just had to try it. For some reason whenever  my clit is the center of attention I start to feel what I can only describe as a hunger or yearning for something to be inside of me. Whilst the pointed tip may look like it would poke & prod you inside, possibly causing pain, I found the opposite to be true. Due to its relatively slender shaft I was able to hone the tip in on my G-spot, waving it back and forth across that area. I was kind of surprised that my body reacted so positively as this tip is far smaller than toys with a head designed to hit the G-spot. I’m not going to complain though as it certainly worked for me, but possibly only because my G-spot is very low & shallow, making it easy to find and hit with most toys.

When it comes to power I have found it to be great with batteries,after 4 or 5 uses the original pair of batteries are still going strong. If you like to indulge in longer sessions I should let you know, this baby really heats up! After 15-20 minutes it was starting to get incredibly hot in the top half of the toy where the motor is housed.  But I’m glad to say that this is the only drawback I have found with this sex toy, apart from that It is perfect in every way!

Cleaning it is also very simple and easy. Warm water & some disinfecting soap will do the job, as will any of your favourite toy cleaners or wipes. You can dry it using a towel (another bonus or plastic over Silicone – it doesn’t attract lint, hair & dust) before you store it. Please remember to remove the batteries before storage to prolong the life of both the batteries and your toy. I’ve ruined numerous toys by leaving batteries in that eventually leaked, destroying the toy.

As far as clitoral vibrators go I’ve also got a Layaspot, The BeBe and my favourite 6″ Bullet breeze to compare the Blue Venus to… and I feel kind of sorry to say this,but,  the Blue Venus blows them all away in terms of direct power right to the point where I want it. I should probably also mention it’s only $20!!

I’d love to give it 5 out of 5, but the getting so hot so fast is an issue for longer sessions of play, but it certainly deserves a good strong 4 out of 5.

A week or so ago I got an email from the people who have created Penis Bandz asking if I’d like to check out their product and write a review for them. Reviewing Sex Toys

Yep, I’m caving and going to Eden

Not many people realise just how easy it is to be sent free sex toys in return for writing an honest review of the product and posting it online. The number of online sex toy stores that send free toys to bloggers is so long that I don’t think I could list them all. The number of sex toy stores that are happy to send free toys to people who live in Australia, those I can count on one hand – but none of them are Australian!

My first review I wrote was for a product I had purchased, followed by a box load of toys I was sent for free from a US based store – but I paid for the international shipping. Then I got lucky and won a few give aways right around the time that my life fell apart. Loosing my income ruled out paying for postage to get products sent down under.  So I contacted a number of Australian sites regarding writing reviews for them, but the best offer I got was to buy products at a discounted rate in return for my reviews – close but no cigar!

By this time I had shared the fact that I was reviewing sex toys with a few close friends & my younger sister – of course she wanted in on it too! But she went the Eden Fantasys route.

For anyone who doesn’t know Eden Fantasys are a large online sex toy store based in America that run a huge online community and sex toy reviewing program. They are possibly the only site that is willing to send toys to reviewers who live in Australia.

So why didn’t I review for them?

Earlier this year there was a big whoo haa about them in regards to them banning one community member, which was quickly followed by a shit storm regarding the way their site handled outbound links. Although I wasn’t involved I was vocal in my own way about the debacle. So when my sister started writing reviews for them I was unhappy with her.

But the truth be told… If you live outside of the US and wish to review sex toys on your blog your options are limited depending on where you reside. So for months I’ve sat back and watched quite jealously, as my sisters toy box grew & grew & grew, despite the fact that the only company that she is reviewing for is Eden Fantasys.

My resolve for taking a stand on an issue that didn’t involve me began to weaken.

I had received an email from Eden Fantasys asking if I’d like to participate in one of their reviewing programs (they have more than one!) as I had signed up for an account before the whole whoo haa occurred.  The program that they contacted me about was their ambassador program. Once a month they send a product out to bloggers in return for writing a post about their site. If you want to you can review the toy, but you don’t have to. It simply has to be a post written about Eden Fantasys that includes the required links to their website,

So whilst I am being incredibly hypocritical by accepting free products from a site that I spoke out against negatively and in doing so I may loose some respect. (to the banned reviewer – if you do happen to read my blog I’m sorry) But hey… at least I’ll be getting off!

For other sex bloggers who are looking for someone to review sex toys for Eden Fantasys.com does send toys all around the globe and to the best of my knowledge they run 3 different reviewing programs. On site reviews – where you write reviews and they are published on their website, off site reviews where you write reviews on your website or blog and their ambassador program where you get sent a free sex toy once a month (you can choose from a wide range of products) in return for a post about their site that includes a link to their site and one of their banner such as this one….

I was sent the Couture Collection Bliss by California Exotics well over a month ago as part of their ‘Sexpert‘ program. As it is rechargeable, with a base that plugs into the wall socket my review had to be delayed whilst I dealt with the incompatibility of American plugs and Australian sockets – Just think square peg, round hole – literally.

But the bliss was well worth the wait.

My last foray into the world of remote controlled vibrating eggs was a huge #FAIL!  I’m so glad to report that this time was a huge success. Not only does this egg have strong, high powered vibrations in numerous strengths and patterns, Its remote works and iw works well!!  Finally my fantasies of being out shopping whilst allowing my partner to control the sex toy I’m wearing can be realised.

The Important Info

Material: 100% body safe, Phthalate & Latex free, ABS plastic with a Satin Finish™ coating.Size: the egg is 6cm long x 4cm wide (2.5″x1.5″) with a girth of 13cm (5″) at it’s widest point. The cord is 11.5cm ( 4.5″) long

Lube: Water based only.

Power: The Remote is powered by a single N1 sized 12Volt battery which is supplied ‘yay!’ and the egg is rechargeable, its heart shaped charging base plugs into the wall. The AC charger is compatible with electricity supplies between 1oo & 240 volts

Care & Cleaning: Warm Water & dis-infecting soap will do the job. Although the egg is waterproof and you can fully submerge it, washing it in the dishwasher or boiling it to sterilise it are both out as the heat is likely to fry the electrical parts.

The Exciting stuff…

The Couture Collection Bliss comes in a pretty cute, cube like box that features images of the product along with some product info printed on it. Contained within are the Egg and its remote along with the heart shaped charging base and the AC adapter to plug it in with. There’s also some product info and a quick, illustrated guide to charging and using the product.

It’s all pretty cute looking!

The Egg  sits upside down inside the heart shaped cradle to charge, whilst it’s charging you’ll see a red light on the base which turns green when it’s fully charged. It will hold it’s charge for about a day and can be used for well over an hour without loosing power.

There are 3 different vibration intensities, low, medium and high as well as four patterns; Escalation, Pulsation, Fast Escalation & Fast Pulsation.  It is super easy to use, with a single button to switch the egg on based near the cord, and two buttons on the remote. One switches the remote on or off and the other cycles through the three vibration intensities followed by the four patterns. My favourite is by far the two pulsation settings. They are such strong, short bursts of energy that pass throughout my entire pelvic area, truly stimulating. I’m kind of blown away by how strong it is, far stronger than any of my bullets. I guess this is just one of the many benefits of rechargeable sex toys.

The product info states that the remote control has a range of up to 5m (16 feet) and I tend to believe them! Whilst I was browsing the cereal aisle my partner changed the vibration pattern on me from the dairy cabinet.  It’s so quiet that you really don’t need to worry about getting ‘busted’ if you too decide to venture out in public with it. Sex toys whilst shopping truly are fun!

It’s also completely water proof – the egg that is! So you can take it in the bath or shower, heck you could even swim whilst wearing it! On top of it’s obvious pleasurable benefits the egg can also be used to add some extra oomph to your kegel excersizes – your pelvic floor muscles are important!! Just don’t go trying to stick it up your bum as you may end up in the ER. Despite the loop/string it could easily slip in and disappear.

Unlike my last one, this egg is seamless and simple to clean, I just washed it in the sink with hot water and dis-infecting soap, it really couldn’t be easier!

So if your after a remote controlled toy to spice up your next shopping trip, a toy that doubles as a kegel excersizer, or just something to spice up your love life, the couture collection bliss just might be for you. I haven’t yet found it for sale, but according to CalExotics.com the expected retail price will be around $122.99… and yes, hell yes, it is worth it.

Sex Toy Review : The BeBe

The Australian Designed and Owned Sex Toy

When I first discovered the BeBe I was so ecstatic. I’d finally found an Australian Designed Toy created by Australian Women. If you haven’t already noticed I’m kind of passionate about both Australia and Sex Toys, so it was a total Win for me.

Add to that the fact that the lovely ladies behind the very beautiful BeBe are from Thirroul, a place very close to my heart and I just started jumping for joy inside– for those that know the Southern Sydney area I grew up in “the shire” and have been to ‘the gong’ more times than I ever could count.

When the lovely Kristine & Lisa, the inspirational pair of women behind the BeBe said they would send me one for review I was over the moon!

In order to give you a fair review I must admit I already had love for their Baby even before I laid eyes on her. But that love simply deepened after I got to play with her. See I call my BeBe ‘her’… ❤I really do love her❤

Her Beauty starts with the packaging & presentation of the toy. It comes gift wrapped with a book mark – which asks are you really interested in reading? No I want to play with my toy! lol.

Under the pretty paper that’s tied with a ribbon you will find a very plain looking cardboard box, it truly juxtaposes the stunning jewel hiding within. The BeBe has the most luxurious, creative packaging and storage I’ve ever come across. Designed not only to carry and care for its cargo, but to also be able to sit out in the open without looking like there’s a sex toy hidden within.

The elegantly adorned “Egg” that houses your BeBe opens up to reveal the toy. Nestled gently into its velvet lined container, when you pick up the BeBe she reveals her required 2 AA sized batteries nestled into their own nook. If its visual aspects weren’t delightful enough, there’s that extra sprinkling of joy when you realise you aren’t going to have to go searching for batteries before you can play! It’s these small little elegant touches that give the BeBe its high end look and feel.

The Egg shaped Storage reminds be a little of an Ostrich egg, but with its flat base it can fit into most people’s bedside tables at 13cm long x 6.5cm wide x 6cm high. Mine sits easily into the drawer of my dressing table, nestled amongst my underwear, but she could just as easily sit out in the open as it is so discreet.

Have I said enough about how great the packaging/ storage for the BeBe is? Want to hear about the actual toy itself now?? sorry I just love great storage and packaging!

The BeBe is an external style vibrator, along the lines of the layaspot and other clitoral vibrators, formed from sleek shiny Purple Plastic that is both Phthalate Free & body safe.  Adorned with two simple to use buttons that together form a pretty heart, again form & function creating true beauty.

The buttons are both placed and programmed for easy, intuitive use. The BeBe moulds itself to both the curve. of your body and your hand with the controls perfectly aligning with your fingers as you hold it in your hand. To switch the BeBe on you just hold down the two buttons, causing a red light to illuminate around the heart shape of the buttons.

The two buttons are used to increase and decrease the speed and intensity of the vibrations. Unlike other toys you don’t need to keep pressing the buttons to cycle through the vibration patterns and intensities but rather you simply hold down the right button until it reaches the level you desire. It is also simple to decrease the vibrations by pushing the left button. To switch your BeBe off just simply hold down both the buttons for 2 seconds.

This is a function either forgotten or not cared about in a lot of sex toy designs. Often you must cycle through all vibration patterns before being able to switch the toy off, which isn’t something you want to worry about if you get caught whilst you thought the kids were asleep for their afternoon nap, or your flatmate arrives home unexpected etc.

The vibrations range from very soft and hardly there to OMG that feels amazing! The motor is placed in the nose, or tip of the toy creating strong, well focused vibrations. At the same time I found that the vibrations also travel throughout the body of the toy providing very enjoyable stimulation to the entire vulva adding an extra dimension of pleasure on top of the amazing clitoral stimulation. After discovering the joys of using clitoral toys whilst having sex with a partner due to my We Vibe2 I thought I’d give the BeBe a go and found it to be amazing. I’ve always been an external kind of girl, my best and most intense orgasms originate from from my clit so this toy is a perfect addition to my toy box for both solo and partnered play.

Even though she puts out some power packed sensations, she manages to do so without sounding like an electric drill. Pop the batteries out and put them to bed along with your BeBe between uses, this will ensure a long life for both your toy and your batteries.

I’m in love with my BeBe, so much so that other toys have been relegated to the box in my cupboard to make room in my dressing table for her. She is Elegantly designed and creates amazing pleasurable sensations, by far out performing some toys created by the big International companies. I’m so Proud that this little Gem is Australian just like me!

The only thing I can fault her on is not being waterproof, but she excels in all other areas I can’t help but forgive her for this single fault. The Girls have done such a great job in designing and creating the BeBe I hope they will be giving her some sibling toys soon!
