I love with this vibrator. It’s a small, portable version of the Vibratex wand massager that is compact enough for you to take it almost anywhere with more power than some toys twice its size and try as I might I can’t seem to fault it.

I rarely find myself in a position where I’m in need of a vibrator whilst out shopping or running errands etc, but I swear that if I ever did this vibe would be the perfect candidate. At just over 6″ long and barely inch wide it’s perfectly small and compact to fit in one’s handbag – well in my handbag at least, but I can see how it would also be a great travel toy – one that doesn’t compromise strength for size.
The Mini Magic Wand’s packaging isn’t anything to write home about, just a simple clear plastic shell designed to be displayed on store shelves that really isn’t suitable or useful for anything – although it is that kinda cool triangular shape. Included with the mini magic wand is a white velvet drawstring bag for you to store your toy in and a single, small piece of paper with some instructions. Don’t be dumb like me and just ignore the piece of paper – it is of some importance.
I spent way too long working out which way to orient the batteries and I think it took me at least 3 goes to get it right. If only I had paid attention to that bit of paper that shows you how to orient the batteries. hmm. I also managed to miss the little black + & – symbols inside that help you put them in the right way. It just might be time for some glasses I think.
Anyway, it’s super easy to use, just push the button to make it go vroom. Press it enough times and it will switch off again, it doesn’t get much easier than that.
Now all that boring stuff is done with lets get back to this toy’s power.
The strength of this toy leaves me somewhat gobsmacked.
Being a battery powered vibrator I really wasn’t expecting all that much from this mini, pocket/purse sized toy, but boy it sure has some kick. I honesty find it to be a close comparison strength wise with my bigger, far bulkier, rechargeable Magic Wand. The trick to getting good strong vibrations out of battery powered toys is to use fresh, strong, full of charge batteries. If they’ve started to loose their charge from say – being in the tv remote control, then the vibrations won’t be as strong as they could be.
I love me some good, strong, earth pounding vibrations. I dare say I’m somewhat of a ‘buzz queen’ as well as a wanna be ‘size queen’. So it’s no real surprise that I find myself drawn to wand style vibrators. Sure regular sized wands can be bulky and cumbersome, but usually the raw power and strength of the vibrations are worth it. I have the much larger Rechargeable Magic Wand from Vibratex1 and absolutely love it. Without a doubt it’s the strongest, most intense vibrator in my sex toy arsenal, but it’s younger sibling is surprisingly right up there with it. Vibratex have managed to take that raw power and condense it into the compact body of the mini wand quite successfully.
Although I did quite a bit of experimentation on my own I did get someone else to help me compare the strengths, just in case I was hallucinating or something. With their eyes closed I touched both the mini and the rechargeable magic wands against different areas of the body – including the all important tip of the nose.2 It was a highly technical, scientific process. When I was finished probing them we swapped over so I could also weigh in blindly so as to not skew the data.
The results showed that both of us thought that the Mini Magic wand was Stronger than it’s larger sibling whilst on the 3 levels of constantly on vibration. For the 3 other vibration patterns our results were all over the place and there was no clear winner – which I think shows how awesome this little wand is, neither of us could tell the difference between the two toys.
On the downside it’s a bit of a pain to get perfectly clean. The ridges in the head and neck of the wand that give it its flexibility also like to get filled up with masturbatory gunk which requires a bit of extra attention when washing it. I long ago realised that my bigger wand needed a good scrub around the head so I just use a nail brush to get into all the nooks and crannies. As it is made from ABS plastic and the head and neck are coated in Silicone, this toy is non-porous, non toxic, free of pthalates, and 100% body friendly. All the things one wants in a sex toy.
This is one of those toy that I can happily recommend to pretty much everyone. It has lighter strength vibrations as well as some good, strong, rumbley ones too, so it’s suitable for a wide range of tastes. It’s also a really affordable sex toy – There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that this is a 5 star sex toy and well worth its price tag.
